Shilpa’s father desired for her to study law but she was only interested in acting.
She is in the acting industry for more than 20 years. Initially, she was struggling for a good chance and in 2002 she got a role in a TV show titled “Bhabhi” but was for a few episodes only. She worked in many tv serials/shows but the role was either short or worked as a supporting actor.
In August 2022, it is confirmed that Shilpa will be the contestant in a dance reality tv show titled “Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10”.
In 2019, Shilpa joined Indian National Congress. However, she is not very much active in politics.
In 2017, Shilpa Shinde was a contestant in a reality TV show titled “Bigg Boss 11”. She was the winner of that show.
From 2015-2016, Shilpa got a chance to work in a lead role for a famous TV serial that become famous later. The title of the show is “Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain!”. She was disputed with the producer of that tv serial and got removed from Shubhangi Atre.

Shilpa Shinde Family
She is the third child of her parents. Shilpa’s parents’ names are Dr. Satyadeo Shinde (father), and Geeta Satyadeo Shinde (mother). Her father was a judge in a high court and died in 2013 from Alzheimer’s disease.
